The measures to control thermal distortion in combination with YASDA’s high precision tilting rotary table and support software realize stable high precision machining even after long hours of operation. The users producing dies and molds as well as precision parts highly rated the performance. A direct drive motor is newly employed in the tilting axis realizing faster and highly accurate 5-axis machining. The footprint was reduced by 20% from the previous model. Since the first model released in 2009, YBM Vi40 has farther advanced leading to the next phase of precise 5 axis milling. |
