PR message | Our laboratory is specialized in metal stamping technology. Professor Wang invented new accurate technology to produce spur gear, cycloidal gear, linear slide and other complex design. This technique can produce any product at once with high accuracy. The precision of this new technology is as high as IT1-3. This new technology won the Platinum Award at the 2017 Taipei International Invention and Technology Expo. |

Precision cutting technology was first applied by Fritz Schiess in 1922 (Germany patent number 371004 filed in 1922). In the past 100 years, this technology has its flaws (such as 10% of surface tearing, burr, sag, unsuitable for thin work-piece, etc.) making the technology unusable in industry; The cause? No technological breakthrough. Now, the channel design technology has made a breakthrough. The product has no surface tear, burrs, sag and its thickness can be made up to 25mm or more. The advantages are listed down below: 1. Inexpensive mold 2. Inexpensive replacement of mold 3. Can be applied on complex shapes 4. Thickness can be above 10mm 5. High precision result. Surface roughness is around 0.03 µm – 0.08 µm with 1 µm roundness, comparing to traditional precision cutting which has the roughness around 1.6 µm to 0.4 µm. The precision is up to IT2 while traditional cutting has the precision of IT7 |
